Bryan Calhoun

Founder/CEO

Bryan has worked in the music industry in various capacities including A&R, marketing, radio promotions, business development and concert promotions for over 15 years including time at Relativity Records, RED Distribution, Warlock Records, Serchlite Music and as COO of GOOD Music. In 2003, he drew upon his varied experiences and founded LMS with to help indie record labels succeed. To that end, he developed specific business solutions to achieve that goal, namely the Music Business Toolbox and the Label Management Systems Financial Software.  His professional consulting clients include Kanye West, MSN Entertainment, Disturbing Tha Peace, Monster Cable and more.

Bryan has a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia and regularly speaks at music industry conferences and at universities about the music industry.  He also teaches a music marketing class for the Music Industry Educators and is on the Board of Directors for the Future of Music Coalition.

J Martin Lett, Esq
Co-Founder, Business Affairs

J has worked in the music industry both as an entrepreneur and attorney. His career began as a concert/event promoter. After law school he gained experience at Holland & Knight, LLP in corporate and transactional law, mergers and acquisitions and business formation and organization. He formed his own firm (first Neighbors, Lett and Johnson, LLC and most recently Register, Lett, LLC) and as an entertainment lawyer, he has worked with nationally recognized songwriters and producers, music production and publishing companies.

J attended the University of Georgia where he received his BBA in Finance and his Juris Doctorate degrees. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and sits on the Entertainment and Sports Law committee. He also teaches “Introduction to the Music Industry” for Music Industry Educators

Jeff Hogg
Senior System Developer

Jeff is a skilled programmer with intimate knowledge of Windows based systems SQL and ASP.net. His experience prior to forming Borzal Consulting, Inc. includes time as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs & Company and as a systems analyst/programmer for Princeton Consultants, Inc. where he led end-user testing and contributed significantly to the functional design, wrote technical design and developed much of the client code for a major US van line’s client-server logistics system.

He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering/Operations Research (1994) and a Certificate of Engineering and Management Systems (1994) from Princeton University.

Brad McDonald
Business Development

For over 20 years Brad has worked in the music business, with experience in A&R, distribution, marketing and management.  He started at wholesale and retail while enrolled in the Music Business program at Georgia State University, but went on to work for several independent labels and distributors including Ichiban Records.  Brad started Daycare Management and Consulting in 2001, working primarily with indie acts and labels, including So So Def Sports, Redzone Entertainment and co-managing artist/songwriter Rico Love.

In January 2003 he joined upstart indie distributor IMD. The company has charted two singles nationally since their inception and has worked with acclaimed producers and artists TI, Lil’ Jon, Rico Wade, Lil’ Scrappy, Trillville, Backwudz, D4L and others.
