- What is the Affiliate Program?
It allows you to promote the Music Business Toolbox to get paid. By placing banners on your website, social network profile, blog and newsletter, visitors will have the opportunity to link to our website. Our system tracks how they get to our site and we pay you a commission for each sale that originated from you.
- Why should I become an Affiliate?
You’ll make money with very little effort and provide others with a valuable resource they will be thankful to you for exposing them to.
- How much does it cost?
No! It’s absolutely free to join Music Business Toolbox ’s Affiliate Program. There is no charge to apply and there is no minimum sales requirement.
- Can a web site outside the United States be an Affiliate?
No. You must be based in the U.S. to be a Music Business Toolbox Affiliate. All commissions payment checks to Affiliates are in U.S. dollars.
- I operate more than one web site. Can I be an Affiliate?
Yes. You can have as many sites as you like with one affiliate account.
- How do I become an affiliate?
Just click HERE. Fill out the online application and you will get the information you need to get started.
- How does the program work?
As an affiliate, each time a customer clicks a banner or link from your page and buys a Music Business Toolbox, you earn a commission of 35% (that’s $17.48 for each full priced sale). Each month you generate a minimum of $50 in commissions, we will deposit it into your PayPal account. If you earn less than $50 in a month, we will carry your balance over to the next month. If you earn less than $50 in a year, you will be paid annually.
- Can I get paid by check or cash?
No. You MUST have a PayPal account. The money you earn will be deposited into it each month.
- What do I have to do once I become an affiliate?
Login to the Affiliate Support Center, grab the banners and links you want and put them on your site(s). We do the rest. If you have questions, you can check our FAQs and Affiliate Support Center.
- Can I modify my account information once I am an affiliate?
We will provide you with the tools and support you need to maximize sales through your site. We also handle orders and billing for all customers you refer to us.
- How do I create banners and links?
Login to the Affiliate Support Center (you get your login information once you register) and go to the Links and Tools page. From there you can choose from a number of links and banners. Simply copy the code from the one you like and paste it into your page.
- Where should I put the banners and links?
Put them where your visitors are likely to see them. Put them on your site, social network profile (MySpace, Facebook, etc.), blog, newsletter, etc. Remember, the more people that click on them and buy, the more money you make.
- How do I know how much I’ve earned?
Simply login to the Affiliate Support Center. From there, you can see, not only how much you have earned in commissions, but also the number of impressions your banners have received, how many clicks you generated and how many Toolboxes were sold because of your efforts.
- When and how do I get paid?
As long as you earn the minimum $50 in commission every month, you will get paid every month. If you do not earn that minimum in a month, we will carry your balance over to the next month, and so on, until your commissions due add up to at least $50. The money will be deposited directly into your PayPal account.
- How do you know someone got to your site from me?
All of the links from your site to ours contain a unique identifier (your unique URL or default affiliate link), so we automatically credit your account when a purchase is made. To make sure you get credit, generate links through the Links and Tools section of the Affiliate Support Center.
- Who handles sales order processing and customer service?
We do. All you have to do is put the banners and links on your site(s) to get people to visit us and we handle the rest.
